Founded in 2022, and with 1000+ employees and counting, Aira is driving the clean energy revolution by providing homes with modern clean energy-tech solutions such as solar power, battery storage solutions and heat pumps. With a state-of-the-art production facility in Poland, an HQ in Stockholm, Sweden, and hubs across the UK, Germany and Italy, Aira is well on track to install clean energy-tech into 5 million homes by 2034.
Join Aira Jeden factory team now and lead the green energy revolution together with us at the very beginning, where it all starts.
About the role:
Are you passionate about 3D design, digital twins, and bringing bold ideas to life? Do you dream of seeing your creations drive real change in the world of manufacturing?
We’re searching for an ambitious talent to join our Factory Digitalization team as a 3D Modular Specialist.
In this role, you won’t just design machines — you’ll engineer the backbone of an entire factory. You’ll craft state-of-the-art assembly equipment, high-precision in-house manufacturing machines, and innovative logistics tools that power production.
With Delmia’s cutting-edge digital twin technology, you’ll simulate, test, and perfect every detail of our production lines before they’re built. Picture yourself walking through a fully immersive 3D version of the factory you helped design, tweaking layouts, optimizing workflows, and solving challenges — all in Virtual Reality (VR).
From concept to commissioning, your designs will shape how one of Europe’s largest heat pump factories operates. You’ll play a key role in visualizing and planning every step of our factory expansions, ensuring we stay ahead in safety, quality, innovation, and performance.
This isn’t just about creating models — it’s about bringing the factory of the future to life.
This is Wrocław-based B2B consultant role.
What are the responsibilities?
- Design modular 3D models for assembly equipment, in-house manufacturing machines, logistics tools, and factory infrastructure.
- Build modular and scalable factory elements for use in digital simulations and layout planning
- Perform simulations and virtual testing to optimize equipment design, workflow efficiency, and factory processes.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, logistics, and safety teams to ensure seamless integration of your designs into real-world operations.
- Conduct Virtual Reality (VR) walkthroughs for equipment sign-offs, commissioning, and operator training.
- Continuously improve and update 3D models based on feedback from simulations, team input, and on-site learnings.
- Support factory expansion projects by designing and validating new layouts and equipment setups in the digital environment.
- Identify and solve design challenges early in the virtual phase, reducing costly changes during physical implementation.
- Stay updated on the latest in 3D modelling, digital twin, and VR technologies to bring fresh ideas and innovations to the team.
- Help drive the digital transformation of our factory by championing the use of digital tools and simulation in decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and design
- Experience with digital twin platforms such as Delmia, CATIA, or similar simulation tools
- Familiarity with VR environments for design reviews, operator training, or commissioning
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly equipment, and factory layouts
- Ability to translate engineering concepts into detailed 3D models that reflect real-world functionality
- Creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional engineering teams
- Eagerness to learn fast, adapt to new technologies, and grow within a digital manufacturing environment
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
What is in it for you?
- The opportunity to lead automation and digitalization projects from concept to execution.
- Work in a high-tech, fast-growing industry focused on sustainable energy solutions.
- Hands-on collaboration with industry experts in smart manufacturing.
- Access to cutting-edge technology in digital factory transformation.
