About the role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Manufacturing Lead to take responsibility for day-to-day operations in our in-house manufacturing function. This is a lead position that ensures our teams deliver safely, with high quality, and according to productivity targets and agreed plans. The Manufacturing Lead will play a key role in developing people, building competence, and driving continuous improvement across all manufacturing areas.
Within the next years, the Manufacturing Lead will oversee a function of approximately 30-40 people and work closely with the Head of Manufacturing to secure strong performance, skills development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations across in-house manufacturing.
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity are consistently achieved in line with targets.
- Work with the Head of Manufacturing to manage all KPIs for the manufacturing function.
- Identify losses, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement across all areas.
- Manage people development, including identifying skills gaps and creating training plans to address them.
- Contribute to the preparation and readiness of the manufacturing function for future shift-based operations.
- Introduce and integrate new technologies to enhance production efficiency, quality, and overall output.
- Monitor the technical condition of all machinery and equipment, coordinating with the maintenance team to schedule inspections and repairs that minimize downtime.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in a mass production environment.
- Strong background in sheet metal and copper pipe manufacturing is essential; experience with powder coating is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage day-to-day production operations.
- Experience with safety, quality, and productivity systems in manufacturing.
- Track record of identifying improvement opportunities and implementing effective solutions.
- Strong people development skills, including the ability to create training plans and close competence gaps.
- Willingness to work in a shift-based environment in the future.
- Excellent communication skills and a hands-on leadership style
- Fluent Polish and English are required.
