About the role:

Our product development department is growing. We are now looking for a Electrical Solution Architect who will own our Energy Generation & Storage category. 

In this role, you will work in the cross-section between hardware and software development, owning the overall systems architecture for all products within this category.

You will take technical ownership of projects from concept to implementation. This includes ensuring we set the right technical requirements to ensure we meet our customers’ needs, working with the right partners to bring the system to life, and improving on the status quo to ensure we design the strongest end-to-end home energy management system on the market.

The role is based in Stockholm and will involve close collaboration with our different central product development teams, as well as with our customer-facing teams out in each of our markets.

What you’ll be doing:

• Take technical ownership of our Energy Generation & Storage category (PV, inverters, batteries, EV charging solutions).
• Develop the systems architecture and ensure seamless integration (of both software and hardware) with our larger ecosystem of e.g. heating products.
• Be the technical subject matter expert who bridges the technical roadmap with our customers and business needs.
• Work with partners to develop our solutions, and help decide what we do in-house and via third parties.
• Generate documentation of system setup, roadmap, requirements, decisions & solutions.
• Follow up on performance and ensure we evolve our portfolio based on data & insights.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Keywords: Electrical system design, System Requirement Management, Prototype testing, Standards and Certification process, Technical documentation, Industrialization technical interface, Supplier technical interface, Designers and Field expert training - 3rd line support.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar within power electronics, preferably having previously worked with either battery or solar PV products.
• Demonstrated expertise in systems architecture, technical road mapping, and product development lifecycle.
