Are you a numbers pro with an eye for detail and a desire to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment?We’re looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our Berlin-based Finance team—someone who not only excels in daily operations but also wants to contribute to building and improving scalable processes.

Your Mission at Aira

In this pivotal role, you'll take ownership of our accounts payable processes, payment transactions, and general ledger management. You’ll also play a key part in our month-end closing and financial reporting. Working hand-in-hand with our Finance HQ in Stockholm, you’ll help shape efficient workflows and lay a strong financial foundation as we continue to scale across Europe.

You’ll collaborate closely with teams in Germany and Sweden and manage external relationships with auditors, ensuring smooth audits and compliance across all levels.

Your Responsibilities

• Independently manage the accounts payable process

• Oversee payment transactions, dunning procedures, account reconciliation, and ledger accuracy
• Contribute to monthly and yearly financial closings (HGB/IFRS)
• Collaborate with our Finance team in Stockholm to improve processes and systems
• Act as the key contact for external auditors during annual audits and tax inspections

What You Should Bring

• Completed qualification in accounting, tax consultancy, or a similar financial certification
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Fluency in both English and German
• Experience with MS Dynamics, Business Central, Navision, or Exflow is a plus
• A curious mindset and a drive to optimize and modernize processes
