Frontend Engineer – Planning
Change. It's in the air.
10% of Europe's CO₂ emissions are caused by residential heating, and energy bills are out of control. Aira is here to change that.
With our intelligent Aira Heat Pump at the heart, we're making the switch to clean energy-tech easier and more affordable. Helping Europe turn off gas and slashing energy costs one home at a time.
Founded in 2022, and with 1000+ employees and counting, Aira is driving the clean energy revolution by providing homes with modern clean energy-tech solutions such as solar power, battery storage solutions and heat pumps. With a state-of-the-art production facility in Poland, an HQ in Stockholm, Sweden, and hubs across the UK, Germany, and Italy, Aira is well on track to install clean energy-tech into 5 million homes by 2034.
About the role
As a Frontend Engineer on our Planning team, you’ll play a key role in transforming how clean energy gets delivered by empowering our planners with intuitive, data-driven tools. This team is responsible for optimizing the scheduling of Aira’s field force—covering the full customer journey, from booking and coordinating sales visits to heat pump installations and maintenance.
You’ll work at the intersection of software and real-world impact, taking ownership of critical frontend initiatives and influencing technical decisions that shape how our planners operate. Beyond building user interfaces, you’ll help set the direction for scalable, maintainable solutions as we expand into new regions and markets.
In this role, you will:
- Take ownership of complex projects from technical design to delivery, ensuring quality and scalability
- Drive architectural decisions and contribute to the long-term technical direction of the frontend stack
- Build modern user interfaces that enable planners to visualize and optimize complex scheduling scenarios
- Develop interactive map-based tools to improve decision-making on geographical proximity, travel times, and resource availability
- Create intuitive dashboards that visualize operational data and surface actionable insights
- Design user experiences that simplify the planning process and reduce cognitive load
- Support dynamic rescheduling capabilities with clear, adaptive interfaces
- Mentor and collaborate with other developers, raising the bar for code quality and best practices
We're changing how clean energy visits are planned and scheduled—making it smarter, faster, and better for everyone involved. If you're excited about building modern tooling and UIs that empower planning teams and drive tangible outcomes, this is the role for you.
