Founded in 2022, and with 1000+ employees and counting, Aira is driving the clean energy revolution by providing homes with modern clean energy-tech solutions such as solar power, battery storage solutions and heat pumps. With a state-of-the-art production facility in Poland, an HQ in Stockholm, Sweden, and hubs across the UK, Germany, and Italy, Aira is well on track to install clean energy-tech into 5 million homes by 2034. 

We are now looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to join our team in Stockholm, focusing on our public website and lead generation platform.

This is a unique opportunity to take technical ownership of our most visible platform, ensuring it not only converts visitors into leads but also consistently elevates our brand perception through high-performance, scalable web solutions.

What you'll be doing 

• Engineer high-impact web applications using React and Next.js — not just shipping features, but shaping how our lead generation platform drives measurable business results. You’ll own both the discovery and technical implementation, ensuring our public website scales with business needs.

• Turn business goals into technical architecture. You’ll work closely with product, marketing, and data teams to translate requirements into scalable systems that optimize for conversions, performance, and future growth.

• Optimize for performance and discoverability. From Core Web Vitals to SEO strategy and A/B testing infrastructure, you’ll design solutions that allow the company to make informed, data-driven decisions.

• Architect and integrate headless CMS workflows that empower non-technical teams while maintaining engineering quality, performance, and scalability.

• Own reliability at scale. You’ll deploy and maintain production applications on Vercel, establish CI/CD pipelines, monitor key metrics, and ensure near-perfect uptime for a mission-critical lead generation platform.

• Shape the product as much as the code. Beyond development, you’ll participate in discovery and decision-making — influencing how we reach 5 million homes by 2034.

What you'll bring to the role 

• React & Next.js expertise — 3+ years building production-grade applications using modern patterns (SSR, SSG, ISR, API routes)

• Systems thinking — ability to design, scale, and evolve architecture in line with fast-moving business needs

• Vercel deployment experience — hands-on knowledge of edge functions, performance tools, and CI/CD best practices

• Headless CMS integration — proven track record with Contentful, Sanity, Strapi, or similar

• SEO mastery — deep knowledge of technical SEO and Core Web Vitals optimization

• A/B testing & CRO — ability to set up experimentation frameworks and act on behavioral data

• Data-driven development — comfort working with analytics and using insights to shape technical decisions

Essential Skills: 

• TypeScript proficiency

• Advanced CSS skills (Tailwind CSS preferred)

• API integration and data fetching optimization

• Multi-language/international site development

• Performance monitoring and debugging

• Multi-language/international website development

Professional Requirements: 

• 4 days per week in our Stockholm office

• Strong English communication skills

• Experience working in fast-paced, growth-focused environments
