About the role
We are currently looking for experienced candidates to join Aira Jeden factory team in Wroclaw and enable us to expand our local F&A capabilities. The role reports directly to Chief Accountant & Tax Manager based in Wroclaw. We are open to specialist profiles with manufacturing-related end-to-end accounting background.
What you’ll be doing
- Controlling, coding and posting purchase (investment, cost and material) invoices
- Issuing sales invoices
- Accounting of employee settlements, domestic and foreign business trips.
- Posting bank statements.
- Keeping records of fixed assets and development projects.
- Posting accruals, analysis and reconciliation of general ledger account balances.
- Intercompany reconciliation.
- Preparing JPK VAT files.
- Participating in AIRA group reporting, preparing input based on local data and operations.
- Supporting Chief Accountant in e.g. preparation of tax returns, reports for Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and Statutory Financial Statements.
- Participating in F&A team's month-end closing, audit and controlling activities.
- Active cooperation and business support in the field of Finance & Accounting with internal / external stakeholders.
What you’ll bring to the role
Besides an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to deal with constant change, we would like you to have:
- Secondary or higher education, preferably in finance, accounting, economics.
- Min. 3 years of work experience as an accountant in an international manufacturing organization.
- Ability to prepare JPK VAT files.
- Knowledge of VAT, CIT, Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and Polish Accounting Act regulations and practical experience in their application.
- Familiarity with supporting group level reporting processes within international company (Aira operates in a couple of European countries, including HQ in Sweden, thus basic IFRS knowledge is preferable).
- Business-level proficiency in English needed to run day-to-day as well as support group level operations.
- Mindset: process ownership in performing daily duties, independence in finding best process / business solutions, reliability in delivering quality service as a part of local F&A department.
- Openness and efficiency in communication with external / internal stakeholders of any business level (including C-level).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is beneficial.
