About the role
We are looking for an experienced Independent Accountant to join our finance team. The person in this role will be responsible for the full accounting process of the company, in accordance with Polish accounting regulations.
What you’ll be doing
- Full accounting of the company in compliance with Polish Accounting Act.
- Posting purchase, sales, bank, and inventory documents.
- Preparing VAT and CIT declarations, financial statements, and internal reports.
- Cooperation with auditors, banks, and external institutions.
- Reconciliation of accounts and oversight of document flow.
- Accounting of employee settlements, domestic and foreign business trips.
- Posting bank statements.
- Keeping records of fixed assets and development projects.
- Supporting Chief Accountant in e.g. preparation of tax returns, reports for Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and Statutory Financial Statements.
What you’ll bring to the role
Besides an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to deal with constant change, we would like you to have:
- Secondary or higher education, preferably in finance, accounting, economics.
- Min. 3 years of work experience as an accountant in an international manufacturing organization.
- Knowledge of VAT, CIT, Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and Polish Accounting Act regulations and practical experience in their application.
- Business-level proficiency in English - min. B1.
- Openness and efficiency in communication with external / internal stakeholders of any business level (including C-level).
- Experience / proficiency in using Microsoft Dynamics (D365).
