About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Industrial Automation Engineer focusing on the 4M integrations at Aira Jeden factory in Wroclaw, Poland.
This position is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation systems to optimize assembly and manufacturing processes of our state of the art factory. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, conducting feasibility studies, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of automation equipment. Industrial Automation Engineer works closely with production managers to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations, reports to the Head of Industrial Engineering (based in Wrocław).
Role-model candidate comes with a minimum experience of 10 years in assembly and manufacturing automation environment as well as proven track record in improving safety, quality and production efficiencies, using TPM and Lean principles.
It is a full-time on-site job, therefore candidates should be located within daily commute distance to Aira Jeden factory.
What are the responsibilities?
- designing and implementing industrial automation systems to improve efficiency and productivity
- collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and develop solutions
- conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for automation projects
- programming and configuring PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) for automated processes
- troubleshooting and resolving issues with automation systems, including hardware and software components
- conducting regular maintenance and upgrades of automation systems to ensure optimal performance
- developing and implementing safety protocols and procedures for automated processes
- training and providing technical support to operators and maintenance personnel on automation systems
- monitoring and analyzing data from automation systems to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance
- staying updated with the latest advancements in industrial automation technology and recommending innovative solutions to enhance operations
What do you bring to the team?
- degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field
- strong knowledge of industrial automation systems and technologies
- proficiency in programming languages such as PLC, SCADA, and HMI
- experience in designing and implementing automation solutions for manufacturing processes
- ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to industrial automation systems
- experience in managing cross-functional, low- and medium-scale projects focused on the implementation of industrial installations.
